About me.
My name is Sam (Samantha) Butler, and I’ve been a photographer since 2012 and a writer from the time I got my first journal - age 7, from my Grandmother, filled it in a week. I am a deep feeler, and I know that none of this will matter in 100 years. So I think we should hold it all tight - all the moments, all the joy, all the sorrow - because it matters to us now. This translates into artistic wedding photos, and people-will-really-connect-with-this brand photography.
When I write, I write about water and magic. When I take pictures, they’re of the moments in-between. (And, of course, the ones that will make Nana happy, where you smile at the camera all together.)
My wedding pricing is currently based on a Pay What Feels Good system, starting at suggested $1500 and no higher than $4500. My comparable market value based on quality & experience is $4750 per 8-hr wedding but I am struggling with the ethics of this, so let me help you get art out of your photos, and you help me buy groceries and pay my mortgage, and we all get a beautiful arrangement. Yes?
My brand pricing is based on a day rate and currently I am self-represented. I prefer to work with people who are passionate about their business, so don’t worry about the dollars and give me a call…ers.
